Great place, great food. Went for birthday lunch with 3 friends. Everything was lovely. I only wish they said in advance I will need to leave table after 2 h. I was not aware and really surprised when being told "I will need the table in 5 min". Never finished my coffee or managed to order dessert. I know some places do it but would be nice to know in advance.

Seated within minutes of arrival. Service attendance was prompt and friendly. Not rushed. Food arrived in good time. Hot and perfectly cooked. Had a main and desert. Lovely calm atmosphere.

First got my order wrong and gave me a Tex Mex Burger instread of a Tex Mex Chicken. I can understand the error as they sound similar. I did not raise this as an issue and just had the burger. By the time our meal arrives we ask for another round of drinks. We only ordered three cans of coke. 20 minuites go by, we flag this up to another waitress. She comes back and asks for our drink order. We say again, three cokes. Again, i can understand if the first waitress was busy and forgot to write down our order. But by this point its been half an hour and we have all finished our food. We then get our bill and it includes the 3 cokes we never even got. I flag this issue with the waitress she goes away for 5 minuites, comes back with a revised reciept. Then just after this someome comes with our drinks - this was over 30 minuites since we aksed for them, and the waitress handling our reciept just sends her back with the drinks as they were now removed from the bill. You would think we would maybe get the three cokes compt but no, she walks away with them. I explain this to the bar staff as i was paying my bill - all I get told is they forgot to send in the order, I explain we reorded them and still waited ages.... no apology nothing. All i get told is how they are usually quick with drinks, that doesnt help me. The original waitress who got my food order wrong and didnt get us drinks legitimately scowled at me as she over heard. No apology from anyone i dealt with. Nothing. Best part of 40 mins.

I usually love this place but went up on 26th Dec for my birthday and got the festive menu, took 40 mins for food to arrive and it was barely warm, the turkey was OK but the ham was more fat than anything else, veg was overcooked and stuffing was not nice at all, i left over half the plate, white choc and Baileys cheesecake was more like a mousse than a cheesecake, very disappointed, think this is the 1st time I've ever had a bad meal here.

This a pub grub type of place but with much more emphasis on the the food. The food it always excellent with very generous portions and reasonably priced. The service can be variable depending on staffing. It's always busy so you need to book well in advance.

Fairly decent gluten free selection and the food was nice. Service was a bit slow but it was busy and we were a substantial table so understandable.
